Phantasmagoria 2

I really enjoyed Phantasmagoria 2 – until it got weird with going into the other dimension. I felt like they had a great concept and didn’t know how to end it. What did you think? Head into the video and tell me in the comments.

Long play commentary

Broken down by chapters –

Manhunter 2: San Francisco

This game plays just like the previous game; so nothing changes too much, so if you’re familiar with Manhunter: New York, then this will be a cake walk – because the controls are the same, and the puzzles operate similar. Manhunter: New York.

This was such a different game – and a relatively dark game for Sierra. The interface is very unique as well. Other than the mazes (which there are quite a few), this is a fun game (but at least, if you know where to look – the key to the maze is revealed elsewhere in the game – unlike other games – I’m looking at you Lighthouse! ) What did you think was the most difficult thing about Manhunter: New York?

Hero’s Quest (Quest for Glory)

I’ve only played the first one so far, because there’s so many random factors – also three “classes” you can play… so I feel like this one has a lot to cover. In this I play Hero’s Quest, so it was before it had to be legally rebranded to Quest for Glory.

Police Quest IV

This wasn’t done by Jim Walls, who did the original three – and also no longer takes place in Lytton – it is instead moved to Los Angeles. I liked Police Quest IV, but it definitely felt disconnected (which I am sure was their intent) from the previous games, which was the only downside.
